“Would who she was, who she really was, be enough? There was no magic to help her this time. This is perhaps the greatest risk that any of us will take. To be seen as we truly are.

Have courage and be kind.”

From Cinderella

Enough… it’s a word I use in questions to myself about myself more times a day than I care to admit.

Am I enough? Am I good enough? Am I doing enough?

I don’t think I’m the only one, I don’t even think that my situation is unique. I think that many have gone through what I’m going through in one way or another. It’s still difficult though…

It’s so easy to believe that something isn’t meant to be, or meant to change, or meant to happen.

What if it is though?

What if you knew without a shadow of a doubt that that ‘thing’ that you dream about, that you wish would change, that you wish would happen – could be? What if it was a guarantee?

Would you keep trying? Would you believe that you are enough? Would you see yourself as worthy of going for it? When you fall, would you get up, dust yourself off, learn from it and go again?

There are no guarantees in life, I know this, and I also know that it is difficult to say what you would do in any given situation without actually going through it.

That’s kind of the point though… Everyone is different, everyone’s situation/circumstance is different, everyone’s dream is different. Everyone is unique.

UNIQUE…

You are absolutely, 100% UNIQUE… YOU… You are the only one there is of you.

Do you know that? Do you understand what that means?

There is only one of you, no one can be YOU, only you an be you. No one can do things the way you do them, no one can think about things the way you do.

Now let’s ask ourselves again: “Am I enough? Am I good enough? Am I doing enough?”

I’ll answer that for me and for you too.

“YES!!! One million times YES!”

I don’t know what your situation is and I don’t know what your dream is, but I do know that you are unique and that you (and I) should remember that.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Psalm 139:14

I’m going to keep working on knowing and remembering this, I hope you will too.

You are loved, you are cherised, you are beautiful, you are you.

Always remember that and when you need to be reminded, open your Bible to Psalm 139:14 and praise God because you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Now, “Have Courage” and believe in yourself and “Be Kind” and tell someone else that they are unique and fearfully and wonderfully made.

Much love,

Riëtte
